Under your kitchenette sink, you’ll find a QR code linked directly to our dedicated maintenance platform. 

Simply open your phone camera, scan the QR code, and follow the prompts to submit your request — it’s fast, simple, and ensures you get the support you need.

Life-Threatening Emergencies

For serious emergencies (e.g. fire, gas leak, electrical hazard), please call the appropriate emergency service immediately:

  • Police, Fire, Ambulance: 000
  • State Emergency Service (SES): 132 500
  • Energex (Power Issues): 13 62 62

Once safe, please contact the YSH office to keep us in the loop and ensure any required follow-up can be managed quickly.

Emergency Maintenance

According to the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008, emergency repairs include urgent matters such as:

  • Burst water pipes
  • Gas leaks
  • Dangerous electrical faults
  • Major breakdowns of essential services like water, electricity, or gas

Battery Alert – Rooming House Electronic Locks

All of our properties are equipped with keyless electronic locks so we can ensure your safety, convenience and peace of mind in all levels of your rooming house property management.

Your electronic locks batteries may eventually die. If it’s beeping, chat to us, just the scan the Tapi QR code under your kitchenette sink. We’ll put in the new battery for you.
